Three types of Switch Wrenches are used in our advanced systems. Switch Wrenches with RF communications in the 2.4 GHz band work with the PTV-FM 2.4, the TCV-Ethernet, the TCV 2.4, and all of the Global 8 controllers. These tools may be used worldwide. The RF Switch Wrenches not designated as 2.4 work in the 900 MHz band used in the NAFTA countries, but cannot be used in Europe. They work with the PTV Gen II and the TCV to form a system. The Switch Wrenches that do not have a transmitter are hardwired, and are used worldwide. These tools may be wired directly to a PLC, and are for those who desire to design and apply their own control methodology.
